    A Midsummer's Common Dream
This description of what it would be like once The camToo Project has been completed is primarly aimed at ex college rowers who have fond memories of sitting in the evening sun waiting for the crew in front to 'do their piece' down the Long Reach. Apologies for the plagarism

Why we need more recreational water in Cambridge
The video shows Cambridge college crews training on the Cam on a February morning before lectures. We see crews lining up to go afloat on the crack of dawn (lighting down time), then coming round Grassy Corner in Fen Ditton, spinning at Baitsbite Lock, and finally spinning at the bottom of the Long Reach. The camToo flood relief channel will join the existing river at this point hence the crews shown spinning would be coming out of the new channel and turning to go back to their boathouses up the existing river with the faster crews being able to overtake slower crews in safety. Thanks to Tom Davies for getting up so early on a rainy morning for this.
